Embedded Firmware Engineer
A permanent, full-time role owning embedded architecture, implementation, testing, and production support for low-power wireless systems.
Skills and qualifications
- Seven or more years developing embedded microcontroller applications with wireless components
- Five or more years working with C and C++
- ARM development and debugging experience, with Cortex-M4 preferred
- Low-power, battery-operated embedded-system experience
- Working knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, timers, PWM, and GPIO
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analysers, signal generators, and power supplies
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Engineering and strong written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Propose technical solutions and validate them on the target system
- Create understandable, documented, and effectively tested firmware
- Interface with sensors, power controls, Bluetooth, and sub-GHz radio systems
- Debug embedded software and plan work against schedule commitments
Hand Assembly and Through-Hole Technician
A full-time, permanent production role focused on component preparation, insertion, soldering, inspection, rework, and through-hole assembly.
Skills and qualifications
- High-school diploma or higher and a good command of English
- Electronics aptitude and knowledge of components
- Working ability with IPC-A-610 hand and through-hole assembly expectations
- Ability to use a microscope and distinguish fine visual details
- At least two years of inspection or production experience
- Strong organization, analysis, reliability, and independent work habits
Responsibilities
- Assemble, solder, inspect, rework, repair, and test PCB components as required
- Read bills of materials, work instructions, and schematics
- Prepare inspection reports and test data and escalate quality concerns promptly
- Follow health and safety requirements and support other production areas when needed
Quality Control Technician
A full-time, permanent quality role inspecting products and materials, documenting results, and helping prevent nonconforming items from moving forward.
Skills and qualifications
- High-school diploma or higher and electronics aptitude
- Working ability with IPC-A-610 quality-control expectations
- Microscope inspection and strong visual acuity
- At least two years of inspection or production experience
- Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming material, in-process work, and finished products against requirements
- Read bills of materials, work instructions, and schematics
- Record test data, deviations, and nonconformances
- Maintain basic calibration checks and identify quality-control improvements
- Escalate safety, quality, or compliance concerns promptly
SMT Maintenance Technician
A full-time, permanent maintenance role supporting SMT equipment, process uptime, diagnostics, changeovers, and preventive or corrective maintenance.
Skills and qualifications
- College education in industrial electronics, electrical maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field
- At least three years of SMT equipment-maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of solder-paste printing and reflow
- Experience with pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI, and automated test fixtures
- Electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault diagnosis using appropriate instruments
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals
- Fine-pitch soldering, component replacement, and PCB rework capability
Responsibilities
- Execute corrective and preventive maintenance using established procedures
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective action
- Assist with SMT line changeovers and equipment-performance tracking
- Train operators on routine maintenance and support production outside regular hours when required
